Eleven Years

Exactly 11 years ago today (April 1) Zoli came to NC for the first time. We were all so excited to meet him that day. It's funny, when I decided to start this blog I didn't realize it had been almost exactly 11 years since our first meeting. Welcome to my blog! (Üdvözöllek a blogomon!)  Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jamie I am from North Carolina born and raised, but I am currently living in Hungary. You are probably wondering how a girl from North Carolina who knows very little - and I mean VERY LITTLE - Hungarian ended up about 5,000 miles away from everything she has ever known. I guess you could say it started 11 years ago and I didn't even really know it, but God planted a little seed in my heart that would take 10 years to grow. Around this time in 2015 our congregation had a visitor come from Hungary. His name was Zoli and he had found us online. During his visit he was scheduled to have dinner with different families, including my family near the end of his visit. I don't remember much about the dinner except we had a number of people come visit and that I ended up taking him back to where he was staying. I'm sure we chatted during that short ride in the car, but I cannot recall what we chatt...
